A few of my favourite books and music
From books to beloved melodies, each holds a special place in my heart for the inspiration they gave me. I hope they offer you insight and encouragement as well, in their timeless wisdom.

Ryan Holiday
The Obstacle Is the Way
I recommend this one to clients who feel stuck, because it reframes what "stuck" even means. Holiday draws on old Stoic thinking — the idea that the very thing blocking you can become the thing that moves you forward, once you stop fighting it and start working with it. It's full of real examples, not abstract theory, which makes it easy to actually apply. A good read for anyone facing a setback they can't seem to get past.
Pema Chödrön
When Things Fall Apart
If you're new to Pema's work, this is the one I'd point you to first — it's widely considered her most accessible entry point, and it's the book most people recommend when someone's going through a hard stretch.

Dr. Georgia Ede
Change Your Diet, Change Your Mind
Dr. Ede is a Harvard-trained psychiatrist who's spent her career looking at the link between what we eat and how we feel — mood, anxiety, memory, mental clarity. This book lays out that connection in a way that's actually understandable, without needing a science background to follow it. I find it a helpful resource for anyone curious about how nutrition and mindset are more connected than we're usually taught.
Eckhart Tolle

A great book if you want to learn about the power of the present moment, mindfulness and the fact that you are not your thoughts.
Benjamin Hoff

Music, titled "More to this"
A song written by Marc Scibilia as a response to a question of his 5-year-old daughter about death. Beautifully lyrics and music. Listen, feel and wonder.
